VLOGWhere I StayedSun Gardens Dubrovnik
During my stay in Dubrovnik, I stayed a little bit outside of the city at Sun Gardens Dubrovnik. This resort had to be one of the most peaceful places I have ever been. The view was incredible- whether I was in the balcony on my room, at a restaurant, breakfast, the pool- everywhere! The flowers were so fragrant, and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. This is a great resort for families, but there are also sections that are more quiet for those that choose to relax without kids. There are 6 different restaurants, bars, sport centers, a gym, and spa. All of the restaurants were incredible- some of the best food I have ever had. Breakfast is immaculate and you can also reserve the terrace if you choose to do so. The resort also has 3 different pools and a beach. I had an incredible experience here. You can book your stay at Sun Gardens Dubrovnik here. Make sure to watch my VLOG for the full room tour and resort tour!
Old Town
Old Town is definitely the coolest part of Dubrovnik, and if you're a Game of Thrones fan, this is where the series was filmed. Dubrovnik is known to be is one of the best preserved medieval, walled cities in the world. Dubrovnik Old Town is an ancient fortress with large stone walls, which helped Dubrovnik keep its freedom for many centuries. The stone walls were built between the 11th and 13th centuries. Now tourists can walk around and discover all of its hidden gems, scenic views, enjoy food, drinks, museums, and most importantly- gelato!
Bosnia & Montenegro Day Trip
Dubrovnik is just 30 minutes away from both Bosnia and Montenegro, and I wasn't going to miss this opportunity to cross TWO more countries off my list! What is cool about these tours is that you can literally be in 3 countries in one day. Dubrovnik Day Tours is an amazing company for this, and they have other really awesome tours as well. (Watch the VLOG HERE).
Here are some of their Dubrovnik Day Tours that they offer:
We chose the Montenegro & Bosnia in ONE DAY day trip. We started by exploring Hercegovacka Gracanica and Trebinje in Bosnia, just over 20 minutes from our hotel. Our tour guide handled everything at the border. He taught us so much about the history of Bosnia, how it is divided into three parts, with the Muslim, Serb, and Croat Republic sectors. It was very interesting to learn so much!
âWe stopped at this gorgeous restaurant for some coffee before we crossed the border into Montenegro! It looked like a real life painting.
Here are the 4 places we stopped in Montenegro:
All of the towns in Montenegro were absolutely breathtaking, but I think Tivat was my favorite! It was the boujee part, haha no surprise there. Learn more about our Montenegro & Bosnia Day Trip and their history in my VLOG. ââ
Towards the end of our tour, we had the opportunity to stop at a gorgeous winery, Vinarija Savina. You can book exquisite wine tours from Dubrovnik from Dubrovnik Premium Wine Tours. The entire region is known for its amazing wine! If this is your kind of thing, I would 100% recommend doing their 3 Countries 3 Wineries Exclusive Private Tour!
