Phi Phi Islands is the most beautiful place I have ever seen in my life. Around the islands you will see bright turquoise, blue, and emerald waters, surrounded by towering limestone cliffs among the white sands. Limestone cliffs appear to be floating throughout the Straits of Malacca. It appears as if you are in a different, magical world! The water is such a beautiful color and you can see right down to the bottom of it. At night you can even see bioluminescence in some places.
Phi Phi Islands are a MUST SEE. The beauty of this place is unreal. I promise you, you have never seen anything like it! On the island, we stayed on the side of Ko Phi Phi Don. The island is pretty crowded and a bit dirty. Phi Phi is a party island, where people stay up until sunrise. We stayed here for 3 nights, and honestly, I would have been satisfied with just 2. The main reason for coming to this island is to see every part of it by boat.
Getting There
The only way to get to Phi Phi is by boat. We took the ferry from Krabi to Phi Phi. From Krabi, the boat ride is only 90 minutes long. The ferry was 450 baht per person ($13.78 USD).
I've said this already in my Krabi post and I'll say it again, PACK LIGHT. Bring as little with you as possible. For tips on this see How I Pack for Weeks with Just a Carry On. From Railay Beach we had to trek through the water with our luggage over our heads as we waited for someone to help us throw them in the boat. We piled everything into a small long tail boat that took us out to the water. We then had to transfer everything from the long tail boat to the ferry boat. The ferry boat is pretty nasty to be honest, and everyone's things are just in one big pile at the back of the boat. We were able to use our GPS during the trip to see when we were getting close to Phi Phi so that we could walk to the bag of the boat, grab our luggage first, and be ready to get off. Just an FYI, when you get to the Pier, they will charge you an entry fee of 400 baht ($12.25 USD).

PP Princess Resort 
This resort is COVERED with beautiful flowers
We chose to stay at the PP Princess Resort because it is located right on the beach of Phi Phi Don, and its only a 3 minute walk from the pier. There are 2 different pools, including an infinity pool, 7 restaurants, and beach bars. The resort also has activities and pool parties with foreign DJs. Phi Phi island is a party island so you will hear music all night even in the hotel room.

Our Room: The room came with a queen and twin bed... which is odd but it wasn't a problem. There was plenty of space. We even had two friends stay with us for a night. We pulled in a cot from the hotel and we all fit! They did charge 1000 baht for each additional person ($30.63) which was no big deal but kind of annoying. What WAS annoying is that the next two nights someone persistently came to check on the room to see if they were staying with us. The room included a balcony with a pretty floral view. We didn't have a beach view, but I'm sure you can request one if you would like. Our room the second day became infested with ants and we had to switch to the room next door. This is likely to happen anywhere you stay in Thailand regardless, but the hotel did not handle the situation well. They seemed annoyed that we asked to switch rooms, did not offer us any kind of compensation (even just a bottle of champagne would have been nice for the hassle), and proceeded to try to charge us for a missing glass when we checked out.... which we never used. The staff at this hotel is pretty annoying and they do not have good customer service but overall it is a nice resort to stay at. 
Yep... all this mess was soon covered in ants.
Price: For our Queen + Twin it was $117.50 per night for two people. Total of $414.90 for 3 nights. Breakfast: If your room did not include breakfast, it was only 250 baht at the resort ($7.66). This breakfast buffet was unreal. I would have rather ate here than anywhere on the street for breakfast! They had breakfast/lunch Thai food available. They had an amazing fruit selection, breakfast pastries, eggs, doughnuts, etc.
Excursions:
6 Hour Private Boat Day Trip 
The Phi Phi private boat tour was without a doubt the highlight of this trip and the highlight of my LIFE! I took a thousand photos on this day, yet combined they don't even do it justice! The beauty of the Phi Phi Islands is supernatural. Price: We booked our private boat tour on the street. It cost 3500 baht per boat ($107.20 USD) for a total of 6 hours. You can book for less hours, however, I highly recommend doing 6! There were 4 of us on the tour, so it only cost us 875 baht ($26.82 USD) each. You can spend the day however you want! The main places that we wanted to hit around Phi Phi were Maya Bay and Monkey Beach, but we were pleasantly surprised at all of the places our driver took us to on the way. Things to Know: Bring PLENTY of water and gatorade or coconut water for electrolytes. You will be having so much fun you will forget that you are in direct sunlight all day! That being said, wear lots of sunscreen. You are allowed to bring alcohol onto the boat if you wish to do so. Bring towels. There are goggles for snorkeling on board already. Bring your own snacks and food also! You will want to do a lot of swimming, not to mention the sun drains your energy anyway! There aren't any places that we stopped at on the islands where they sold food, so bring some beforehand! I recommend getting a Go Pro for this excursion! My friend had one and we got some amazing shots in the water. You may want to take some Dramamine before getting on board. Its a very small boat that rocks back and forth with the waves that you will be on for hours. I have never been seasick, but I did get very land sick after getting off the boat that day. I think it was because I had water in my ear and I was sitting backwards, hunched over on the way back because I was trying to stay out of the sun. Nonetheless, you DON'T want to feel like I did! I would take some just in case. ***Disclaimer*** these photos are NO FILTER!

Loh Samah Bay
PiLeh Bay
PiLeh Bay is soon after Viking Cave and the turquoise waters are so bright they are glowing! There are lots of other boats here. It is a good place to first jump into the refreshing water and have a snack/drink on the boat. 
Pileh Bay
Loh Samah Bay Loh Samah Bay is an intimate little bay. The water is a bright, crystalling blue-green and you can see everything at the bottom from above the water. THE SAND HERE IS UNREAL. Its literally like dough. As soon as you set food on Loh Samah beach your feet will sink down in the sand to your ankles. It is like walking on marshmallows. I didn't know sand this soft even existed!! You can even mold the sand in your hands! 
I could lay in the Loh Samah Sand all day!

Maya Bay
If I had to pick favorites, Maya Bay would be one of them. The water is a beautiful mix of emerald and turquoise, surrounded by towering limestone cliffs. Take out your snorkeling gear here to see all kinds of beautifully colored fish and coral! I did feel a little bit of stinging all over my body while swimming here, and I thought maybe it was baby jellyfish. After researching this I've come to learn that its some type of coral... interesting. But don't let it stop you from swimming in this beauty! The stings are minor (if you even get them). 
Mystery Cove? I'm not sure of the name of this secret little beautiful cove, but it was somewhere between Maya Bay and Monkey Beach. If you know, please let me know it the comments! This small destination was also one of my favorites. The water had a seafoam green, crystal glass colored tint to it. The snorkeling here was also amazing. There were thousands of neon rainbow fish, purple, green, yellow and blue. There was a lot of beautiful coral to see, and there were lots of huge, interesting sea cucumbers moving around! 
On the way to Monkey Beach the water looked like the artificial blue water you see at mini golf places, haha! Crazy blue.
Monkey Beach Monkey beach... literally a beach with monkeys everywhere. There are wild monkeys all over Thailand, and they aren't shy... especially on monkey beach. Since Monkey Beach is a tourist attraction, DO NOT bring the monkeys food! They will attack you for it! They are cute but can be vicious. Also, hold on to your items tightly, and hide food/ valuables under a towel in the long tail boat... if they see something they will steal it! However, I was not afraid to take pictures with the monkeys. Use your best judgement! My friend did happen to step backwards and run into baby monkey... this was a near disaster. Momma monkey turned around and viciously screamed at us and the whole pack started to come after us! We ran straight into the water and into the boat and made it out alive... haha! So be careful here! 
Floating Rocks Again I'm not exactly sure what this area is called here but you can see even more "floating rocks." These limestone cliff islands are able to stay like this because of the stillness of the water. There was also some amazing snorkeling here, and thousands and thousands of fish. You can snorkel with the fish as if you are one of them... they are not shy to swim right up to you. I was surrounded by thousands of fish yet none of them touched me! We used our extra bananas to feed the fish which was sooo neat. They all flock to you and an instant. They would eat an entire banana in about 30 seconds time.

Streets of Phi Phi Don
The streets of Phi Phi are much more dirty and crowded than Krabi. However, you can find some AMAZING Thai food here. There are a multitude of Thai massage places, tattoo shops, boutique shops, souvenir shops, coffee shops, bars, Thai boxing, and restaurants. You don't have to go looking for good food here... its everywhere. Most places do not open until around 10:00 - 10:30 AM. There are a bunch of places that sell alcohol buckets in phi phi, along with Thai pancakes and coconut ice cream.
Special "Manu"
The restaurant next to our resort was so freaking good we ate there multiple times a day. Don't sleep on Thai salads! They are amazing. So are their soups and curries and well... everything!
