St. Tropez was even more dreamy than I had imagined! We visited at the end of season, which in my opinion was the perfect time. The crowd starts to slow down, and the weather was crisp and perfect. Not too hot, not too cold. The air was light and you could feel the ocean breeze. St. Tropez has been on my list to visit for awhile and it did not disappoint. It was so quaint, cute, and peaceful- yet it also has the glitz and glamour of deluxe dining and exclusive clubs. My favorite thing about my time in St. Tropez was simply walking along the charming cobblestone alley's with a baguette from the boulangerie in hand and stopping at the Place des Lices market on a Sunday. In this post I am going to give you all of the best recommendations for St. Tropez. All outfits are also linked! :)

History
During the 1950s, with the help of Brigitte Bardot, the small humble fishing village of Saint-Tropez became “the place to be”, soon developing the international ambience that we associate with the resort today. Now, Saint-Tropez is known for its upscale dining, celebrity culture, and as one of the most glamorous beach towns of the Côte d’Azur. Saint-Tropez offers glimmering beaches and exclusive beach clubs- a prime destination for anyone looking for anything posh. ![]() ![]()
Where We Stayed
Hôtel La Mandarine I loved our stay at Hôtel La Mandarine. Our hotel was so cute and quaint, and the smell of the perfume in the hotel was honestly my favorite, LOL. The hotel offers a beautiful garden, pool, and restaurant. It was super quiet and relaxing. I loved all of the beautiful landscaping here. The staff was super friendly and helpful! It is the perfect location between the old town and the beaches. ![]()

Many visitors to St. Tropez enjoy the Musée de l'Annonciade, St. Tropez' art museum, which was also the former home of the Chapelle Notre-Dame de l'Annonciade.
The museum represents St. Tropez' artistic avant-garde past with impressionist paintings and other famous works. It is important to note that much of the paintings here were painted by artists that resided in St. Tropez during the 1890's.
I thought that the butterfly museum was such a unique attraction that St. Tropez has to offer. I grew up going to the Butterfly Museum in St. Louis, Missouri, so I thought this was especially cool. I didn't get the chance to visit here this trip, but it is definitely something I don't want to miss next time I visit St. Tropez. The museum hosts a wide range of butterflies including rare and even some extinct species.

Best Brunch Spots in St. Tropez
Did you think brunch in St. Tropez would be anything short of luxury? Dine at Dior for brunch for an exceptional experience. I personally like my morning bread to read the words "Dior" on it. You can order everything from omelettes to pastries -and don't skip out on their signature cappuccino.
Brunch at Sénéquier comes with a nice view right in the heart of the port. This is a place where you can find both locals and tourists for breakfast. This restaurant has been a staple on the harbor since 1930- and is rumored to host many famous artists and writers searching for inspiration. You can't take a trip to St. Tropez without stopping at La Tarte Tropezienne Patisserie for their famous cream-filled brioche. Brigette Bardot fell in love with this dessert while filming "And God Created Woman" and actually suggested the name "La Tarte Tropezienne Patisserie." Now visitors and locals can still enjoy the amazing pastries while overlooking the Place de Lices. ![]()

A delicious restaurant to visit along the cobblestone streets of St. Tropez. It is a traditional mansion de village that is a special night out for locals, with award-winning chef Stéphane Avelin.
