*** Disclaimer *** This list is completely subjective. Let's be real here, there is no "Top 10" on best places to eat in New York. There are hundreds and hundreds of top-notch restaurants to choose from. But if you're anything like me, you will still spend over an hour searching for the "best" place to eat and before you can make a decision, you become increasingly hangry. I look for the best food, the cutest places, and best atmosphere (its all about the gram photo, am I right?). So, here are my personal favorites. Let me know in the comments what your favorite places in NYC are! I am always looking to try something new.
3. Patsy's Pizza: Best Pizza in New York
They say New York City pizza is so good because of its water. I actually read an article about a place in California called Village Pizzeria that pays ten grand a year just to bring New York City water to their restaurant to make their pizza dough. I stumbled upon this particular place walking around the city and decided to take a pizza to go for my boyfriend and I because I recognized the name. Previously, I had an uber driver AND a taxi driver tell me it was the best pizza place in NYC, so I knew it was real. We both become addicted to Patsy's Pizza within the first bite. Patsy's Pizza is the definition of New York Style Pizza. Thin crust that is doughy yet crispy on the outsides. Just amazing.
4. Gansevoort Market
Gansevoort Market is a foodies paradise. Located only a block away from Chelsea Market, Gansevoort Market has a wide variety of vendors to choose from. From local to international, vegan to organic, savory to sweet, diet or no diet you won't find something you don't love here.
